Immaculate Mary Home
Stuart Skinner, NHA, Administrator
To Whom It May Concern:
Immaculate Mary Home (IMH) is a 296 bed skilled nursing facility in Northeast Philadelphia. The home delivers a complex array of services to the frail elderly and Alzheimer’s residents. Over the past year, IMH has undergone a renovation of its nursing stations and corridors on all six of our care units. The renovation included: upgrades to our electrical and HVAC systems, replacement of the floor, repair of walls, installation of new wall covering and handrails, installation of a new ceiling and corridor soffits, and the creation of additional storage closets. J.J. White completed the renovation under the day to day supervisions and direction of Mr. David Zimmerman and under the general direction of Mr. James Gallagher.
Given that our residents were not relocated for any portion of the project, the renovation was indeed a daunting task. In addition to the technical skills demanded by the scope of the project, sophisticated coordination and communication skills were required to ensure our residents' physical safety as well as to accommodate our nursing staff's workflow. Throughout the course of the project, Mr. Zimmerman and Mr. Gallagher handled all of the demands of the job in an extremely professional, competent, and personable manner.
In addition to the basic specifications for the project, Mr. Zimmerman and Mr. Gallagher frequently had helpful suggestions to improve upon the renovations’ initial plans. Additionally, Mr. Zimmerman was diligent in supervising all subcontractors that worked on the project. Subcontractors were held to the same work standards that Mr. Zimmerman established for himself and his team. The end result of Mr. Zimmerman and Mr. Gallagher’s efforts was that IMH was transformed into a state of the art modern nursing facility.
In summary, I would highly recommend Mr. Zimmerman, Mr. Gallagher and J.J. White Inc for the coordination and supervision of any project of similar magnitude. Should you have further questions about Mr. Zimmerman, Mr. Gallagher, or J.J. White Inc’s work at IMH, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
Stuart Skinner, NHA, MBA
