Dear Jim,
I would like to take this opportunity to let you know what a sincere pleasure it has been to have worked with you and your staff on the Ryan Memorial Library renovation project here at St. Charles Seminary.
I commend Mr. Jim Gallagher and Mr. Frank Kenny in particular for their professional skills and the way they have handled situations which tend to arise whenever you are involved with a renovation in a historical building in general and then unique issues of working within a Seminary. Your entire staff from the office to the mechanics in the field have been an asset to this project and have treated myself and the rest of my staff with courtesy and respect.
As you know I will be leaving St. Charles and relocating to another state and I will not see the end result of our efforts at the Library. I will however leave comforted with the knowledge that this project, which I have in one way or another been working on for the past seven years, will be completed and the result will be a state of the art Theological Library that will serve St. Charles Seminary and the Theologians that use it for many years to come.
