GlaxoSmithKline - Central Utility Plant - Chiller Replacement Project at GSK Upper Merion
Richard Coomes, BSc. C.Eng. M.I. Mech. E., Director, Captial Project Engineering & Design
Dear Jim,
I am writing to personally thank you for the excellent work J.J. White Incorporated has carried out in the replacement of the three 1,000 ton York chillers, associated cooling towers and auxiliary equipment in our Central Utility Plant (CUP) at Upper Merion.
The project has been well-planned and superbly executed by a team of highly motivated and skilled professionals. Your team of supervisors, welders, pipefitters, carpenters, and laborers were on site for many months during which time they were all extremely polite and courteous to all of our GSK personnel.
This project has been completed safely within budget and ahead of schedule and the pipework installation (on-site and prefabricated) is the best I have seen in my 30+ years engineering career in the UK, Europe, and now the USA.
Please give my personal thanks to Bill Louden (Superintendent) Jeff Fiedler (Foreman and pipework layout/sketching), Clark Schnabel (lead welder), and Tom Druding (carpentry), plus all the other team members as they all deserve the recognition.
I would not hesitate to recommend J.J. White Incorporated to other prospective clients in the future and will close in saying thanks for a job well done and that we are looking forward to many more projects with J.J. White Incorporated.
Best Regards,
Richard Coomes, BSc. C.Eng. M.I. Mech. E.
Director, Capital Project Engineering & Design.
