Sunoco Chemicals
Bill Devine, Contract Administrator
Dear Jim:
We just completed our Unit #3 Turnaround. This outage was a little unusual in that it involved tie-ins on our new CI-101 column, repairs on storage tanks, rerouting our phenol and cumene pipelines to the river terminal, and unexpected repairs on several columns. As you know in our business, unexpected events do not change the schedule for start-up.
With that said, I want you to know how pleased I was with the performance of your company. The level of service and commitment to the work was obvious to all of us here. I personally was responsible for the pipeline job and could not have been happier with the result. Fred Alderman did a tremendous job and has great people working for him. Tom Callahan’s help and support all through the planning stages of the Turnaround was top notch. The cherry on top of the whipped cream was that we managed to do all this work without even a minor first aid case.
Kudos to you and your Company; look forward to working with you in the future.
Sincerely,
Bill Devine
Contract Administrator
