Tank Estimator/Project Manager Join Our Team

We are looking for a Tank Estimator/Project Manager with tenured experience who has a passion for working in the details and takes pride in the accuracy of their work. Someone who takes a systematic approach to estimating and can work within the boundaries of client budgets. Specializing in all respects of tank construction, maintenance, and repair.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze construction project plans, specifications and related documents to determine the scope of work and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers to gather accurate and up-to-date cost information for materials, labor and equipment.
  • Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates, proposals and bids for various construction projects.
  • Conduct thorough quantity take-offs and cost calculations for all project components, including labor, materials, permits and overhead expenses.
  • Evaluate and compare supplier and subcontractor bids, negotiating favorable terms and prices.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations and material costs to ensure accurate and competitive estimates.
  • Assist in value engineering efforts and suggest cost-saving alternatives without compromising project quality.
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits and post-bid discussions with clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to ensure seamless project hand over.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an estimator/project manager or construction with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in electronic estimating and software tools (On-Center, Procure, Blue Beam and Microsoft Office).
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials and building codes.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with diverse teams and clients.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Solid knowledge of local and regional construction market trends and pricing.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
