Safety Topics

Each day we need to discuss a specific safety “stand down”, “thought” or safety “topic” document that is communicated and shared with the entire jobsite.

Why do we take the time to develop and share safety thoughts of the day?

• There are times when we get bombarded with information at work or at home and the safety thought allows us to think, discuss and focus on one specific area of safety
• That topic is now fresh in our memory and as we go to complete our job tasks for that day maybe that topic will be triggered again
• If the topic does not relate to what you do during your daily work routine, you now have the knowledge to share it with someone else. Maybe it is something that you can take home to share with a family member or a friend
