Accounts Receivable Manager Join Our Team

JJ White Inc., is seeking a detail oriented, self-motivated individual to manage our accounts receivable group.

Responsibilities

  • Time and material/cost plus invoicing: ensuring current rates are being utilized
  • Contract/lump sum invoicing
  • AIA ( American Institute of Architects) invoicing
  • Retainage processing
  • Manage daily cash posting and AR’s daily log update
  • Assist with weekly reporting
  • Communication with the Project Manager and other accounting groups regarding any billing issues needing to be addressed
  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately
  • Month-end accruals and assist with month-end reporting
  • Assist with other projects as needed

Skills Needed

  • College Degree
  • Construction accounting experience
  • Contract billing experience
  • 5-10 years account receivable experience
  • Knowledge of Timberline/Sage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Software
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Problem analysis and problem solving skills
  • Sense of urgency
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Successful candidate must be able to work independently, handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment, and effectively prioritize assignments
