JJ White was selected as the Balance-of-Plant Contractor for Calpine Energy’s new, ground-up HRSG Project
Challenges
The Project had an aggressive schedule with severe Liquidated Damages stipulations due to the Client’s need to get the unit up and running to add much needed power to the Grid. Additionally, the Powerhouse Project had numerous different material requirements including: fiberglass, stainless, carbon steel, and chrome molly necessitating a range of talented tradespeople with diverse skills

JJ White provided our skilled, steady workforces, along with on-site Planners and QA/QC Managers to safely and efficiently execute the work on time and within budget
Results
Calpine succeeded in getting the HRSG unit up and running, and supporting the power grid on schedule. We continue this long-term relationship and are currently performing another HRSG Project for this valued Client
