Our Safety
On May 12, 2005, J.J. White Incorporated was the recipient of the Contractor Award for Meritorious Safety Performance, presented by the National Petrochemical and Refiners Association. The public recognition of their flawless incident record took place at the annual Safety Awards Banquet in New Orleans where outstanding safety accomplishments are publicly recognized.
This award honors facilities that have maintained an overall incidence rate of less than 1.2 with no workplace fatality during the year. J.J. White is proud of its perfect record of 0.0 with no fatality during 2004 throughout over 2,000,000 man-hours. The designation is granted based on recordings defined by law in accordance with the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA).
