JJ White Inc. has recently partnered with Vicinity Energy to promote green energy initiatives in the Philadelphia Region. Vicinity Energy tackles global energy problems on a local level, with local resources. They produce and distribute steam, hot water and chilled water directly through a vast network of underground pipes. 
Our expertise in maintaining these mechanical systems led to a natural partnership. JJ White crews just completed emergency repairs at Vicinity’s main Steam Plant at 26th and Christian Streets in Philadelphia. This plant helps provide energy for such prestigious and venerable institutions such as the University of Pennsylvania, Penn Medicine, Thomas Jefferson University, and the Thomas Jefferson Health System.
We are proud to service this green energy network that eliminates the need for boiler and chiller plants in individual buildings, improves efficiency, lowers carbon emissions, and increases reliability.
