As the final days of 2017 ticked away, JJ White leaders slowly released a “Best Of” list on Facebook that highlighted some of the company’s biggest successes of the year. The list included projects originating from the home office in Philadelphia as well as the Midwest office in South Bend, Indiana. While not all projects are eligible for the “Best Of 2017” list due to privacy and security concerns, they are reflective of an extremely successful year for the company. From completing a Children’s Hospital, working at some of the most well-known stadiums in the country, and debuting on cable television, it was a banner year for JJ White Incorporated. - Notre Dame Football Locker Room Renovation – South Bend, IN
- The renovated space combines the history and prestige of the University’s legendary football program with the modern amenities recruits expect in 2017. The project finished under-budget and in time for the first home game against Temple University. The only thing we didn’t touch was the iconic “Play Like A Champion” sign!

- Completion of the Beacon Children’s Hospital – South Bend, IN
- Since its completion in May, the 100,000 square-foot, $50 million facility has already improved healthcare access for thousands of children in the South Bend area. Its featured two-story atrium with a tree sculpture and forest mural helps patients to get out of their rooms and enter a “healing” environment.

- Willow Grove YMCA Groundbreaking – Willow Grove, PA
- The upcoming 110,000 square-foot Willow Grove branch is meant to combine the existing Hatboro and Abington YMCAs into one, modern facility. We are thrilled to help improve the community fitness and recreation opportunities in the Willow Grove area

- Pretzels Inc. Factory – Plymouth, IN
- Nearly a year after a fire devastated Pretzels Inc. former production facility, they are back up and running in Plymouth, Indiana. We are especially proud of this project because of the economic impact it has brought to the area. The factory is bringing much needed jobs to an area that desperately needs them.

- Wawa #8087 – Philadelphia, PA
- Wawa Store #8087 is the 3rd location built by JJ White Incorporated. This 24 hour location with a full-service deli and fuel opened in July to the delight of the Rhawnhurst community.

- American Ripper Television Program Appearance – Philadelphia, PA
- JJ White crews helped exhume America’s first serial killer, H.H. Holmes, for History Channel’s “American Ripper” series. But was it really H.H. Holmes in the grave? We are proud to be a part of this spooky, yet eye-opening project!

- Temple University East Park Canoe House Renovation – Philadelphia, PA
- The East Park Canoe House restoration along Philadelphia’s Schuylkill River is yet another in a long line of historical projects JJ White crews have worked on. Our work on the building’s interior helped earn the project an Award from the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia

- Citizens Bank Park LED Light Upgrade – Philadelphia, PA
- JJ White Crews updated the stadium’s service lot lighting to brighter, more energy efficient LEDs in advance of the 2017 season. The job was completed before the team returned to Philadelphia from Spring Training.

- Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary Golf Classic – Philadelphia, PA
- JJ White Inc. sponsored the 2017 Saint Charles Borromeo Golf Classic on October 2. After completing a full renovation of the Seminary’s Ryan Memorial Library in 2005, JJ White has continued to partner with the school and helped raise over $480,000 at the golf classic
